Semester 1 Recap as a Social Work Student.

 OCTOBER 2022

10th: I arrived at University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) to check in. 

12th - 14th: Minggu Suai Mesra (MSM) which is to introduce students to UMS. On the 13th, the first meeting with my coursemate.

First intake 22/23 social work students with seniors.

 On the 14th, it was the course registration. This is my subject for semester 1:

17th: My first day of Lecture and it’s raining cats and dogs. 

20th: First Pembangunan dalam Masyarakat dan Individu tutorial class. And Japanese Class 🙂

22th: First Paramedic Class.

NOVEMBER

6th: Social Work student year 1,2,3 family day at UMS ODEC. 

12th: UMS Sejati Bengkel Kemahiran Insaniah also at ODEC.

Semester break for 1 week~ 

(After the end of semester break, the next week was my hectic week bcs I had 2 events in one day and mid-term exam.The preparation is last minute tbh. Nevertheless, it’s a new experience and enjoyable.)

DECEMBER

12th: If i'm not mistaken was the mid-term for PMDI.

17th: UMS Sprint and Bon Odori.

19th: Again, if I'm not mistaken Pengantar Psikologi mid-term.

After that, all I remember is that I do my assignments, group presentations, Christmas & New Year at Kg.

JANUARY 2023

6th-9th: I joined the Program Komuniti at Kampung Suang Punggur, Kota Belud organized by Year 3 Social Work Student. A wonderful experience for me tbh.

15th: Kolej Kediaman Tun Pengiran (KKTPAR) idk family day? Or sportsday. I joined sukaneka and ran a 4x2 run. It’s been a long time since the last time I ran… I forgot we got 2/3rd place. 

17th: Last Pengantar Kerja Sosial class with Sir.

28th: UMS Karnival Kokurikulum. Lots of performance from every kokum unit. 

FEBRUARY

Study week and then final exam.

7th: Pengantar Kerja Sosial final

9th: Pengantar Psikologi final

10th: A day out with my roommate and 1 friend. 

13th: PMDI final.

Then it’s a wrap for semester 1.
